My days in West Malaysia

I reached Kuching International Airport at 11.30am on 3rd day of CNY. Darling and his friend, Ah B waited there to fetch me back to Ah B’s house. Since his house is not so convenient for me to stay, so we we went to another friend’s house. He’s Ah Gui. Younger than us but humorous.

We stayed there for about 3 days before we went back to darling’s home town in Sri Aman. We’ve been visiting darling’s friends during our stay in Kuching and ate alot of Kek Lapis, most famous in Sarawak. Lol. Then we took van to go Sri Aman.

His family consist of his parents, of course, his younger sister and he himself. Not to mention 5 cute kitties too! His parents are very nice to me, and they always make jokes. Not like mine, so serious all the time, even when I joke my parents just laugh abit and that’s it. Even his grandma likes me. That relieves me because I thought his grandma will be a bit old fashion and serious and hard to communicate. But I was wrong! His grandma is very cute, and she’s happy to see us coming together. She’s about 80 sth and still very healthy and strong, can climb the stairs up and down like young people! I miss her though!

Nothing much to do in Sri Aman because it’s a very small town. They brought me to have some local foods which darling miss so much. Then we took bus and came back to Kuching yesterday afternoon because we thought Ah B is going to temple to pray and bath as the monk told us to but end up he’s busy yesterday and didn’t even have time to fetch us in the bus stop! We waited for 2 hours sitting there and I almost argue with darling ’cause he doesn’t want to go to Boulevard, a small shopping complex, and shop there while waiting for Ah B. He said it’s far and difficult to shop since we have 2 big luggage with us! Seeing me angry and he gave up. I thought of walking there because it’s just nearby but he don’t want, we took taxi there and guess how much is the fees? RM18! Gosh! Taxi here are like that, it’ll be cheaper if you are going long distance, short distance they’ll charge more expensive! We shopped and waited for Ah B for another 2 hours and yet he’s not here, we can’t even reach his phone! Terrible! Alex, one of our NS friends staying nearby came and meet us for a while and then left because he have to meet some one. We went to foodcourt cause I’m a bit hungry and nothing else to shop, and coincidently another NS friend 至财 is working as a chef in the stall which I bought the food. We chat for a while and then he continue his work. Then we left the mall and wait outside.

Finally darling decided to call another friend and luckily he’s free and knows where we can stay. He fetched us to a nearby motel. We decided to stay in motel since Ah Gui’s house is no longer convenient cause his father is not at Kuching and he’ll be working. The motel is where a funny incident happened the other day when we stay in Kuching. One of Ah B’s friends, stepped on the shit next to our car and didn’t notice it until I said there’s shit next to the car. Luckily I told darling before that, if not he already step on the shit! We laugh like hell, Ah B even fell over the drain! Lol!  The room only cost RM45 per night, with aircond, queen size bed, bathroom and TV. Quite cozy. We’ll stay here until tomorrow afternoon. Then we’ll be heading back to KL!

I’m still wodering what to buy for mom. Nothing special here to buy except Kek Lapis, but I can’t find any near the place I stay. We don’t have any transport to go to town cause you know darling, he told me there’s nothing special there and it’s quite far. Well, we’ll see what they got in the airport then.
